Puerto Pollenca is located at the Noth East side of Mallorca. It is a beatiful litte town with a nice beach. The beach seemed to be loved by families with children especially in the weekends. You have to cross a road wtih rather heavy traffic to get to the beach but a soon as you are on the beach you don't notice the traffic.

Italia/Italy - Piemonte
Stedet heter Il Torriglione.
La MorraWe had decided to try agrotourism and had booked rooms at Azienda Agricola Erbaluna just outside La Morra. It turned out to be a good choice. The rooms were fantastic, decorated in a traditional style. The bathrooms were new. The terrace is big and is overlooking the hills. The breakfast was served in a cosy room by a service-minded hostess.
The winetesting was very interesting. They make bio wine.
The food and wine in this area is very good. The first evening we were recommended to eat at and other wineyard because they only serve breakfast at Erbaluna. They booked us a table and we were told that we had to eat what they have got. And what a meal - eight courses. The food was fantastic and so was the price 27 Euro for the food. The wine was also very good.
It is called Il Torriglione.

Alba is the Cultural centre in Langhe. It has a lot of towers and shops. Just remember everything is closed on Monday. That was the day we chose to see Alba.

Chiavari is not the most famous town on the Ligurian coast .We got there just because we had to buy a new suitcase. The main street had arcades on both sides. Look at the pictures and see what some of the shops looked like. A very nice place.
Hotell i Moneglia.
Meget god mat.
Hotels in Moneglia
There are several hotels and it is also possible to rent a flat if you like that. We chose Eva La Romantica. The distance to the centre and beach is short. It is lying in a peaceful area, clean rooms and good service. Good breakfast and if you want to have dinner, we can recommend the food.
Eva La Romantica.
Strand.
Beach
The beach is very nice. There are several beaches. We chose Bagni Letizia because we liked the service there. It was always clean there and the people were very friendly. We really enjoy the beaches in Italy. They really have good sunbeds and the system with the banjero that leeds you to your bed is very charming. Restaurants: La Vela the food is good. The restaurant is always full. Friendly people.

Barletta/Trani
Her kan du kjøpe vin.
Here you can buy wine.
There is not much to see in Barletta but you must see the Colosso, the Chiesa del Santo Sepolcro and the Castello. Barletta has a nice beach but it was the most expensive beach we have ever been to.
In the evenings people came together near the beach.
Vi bodde på Nicotel Barletta.
We stayed at Nicotel Barletta
TRANI
Trani ligger like i nærheten av Barletta.
Trani is a picturesque small town. You can soon guess by the look of the boats in the harbour that it has more wealthy tourist coming by the sea.

Parga
From Korfu we went by boat to Igoumenitsa. You can take a bus to Parga but in the weekends it only leaves twice a day. So we took a taxi and had to pay 45 Euro. It is 50 km between the towns. Parga is a nice litte town. It has about 2500 inhabitants in the winter and it increases to 48000 in the summertime ( according to our hostess). No wonder the narrow streets are filled with cars.
Parga is not a party place. There were most families and adult couples .
Parga has two beaches one in the centre and Valtos Beach which is much bigger. You get more space between the sunbeds there at least in the beginning of July. You can get there by taking a boat from the centre or you can walk. It is not that far away.
Mer informasjon om Parga finner man her. Vi bodde på
Iraklis Studios. Det ligger litt ovenfor sentrum. Rene ordentlige rom i en rolig gate. Hyggelig vertinne.
From Parga you can take a day trip to Antipaxos and Paxos. Paxos is a very idyllic place. You'll find more information about Parga here.
We stayed at Iraklis Studios. It is situated a short walk from the centre. Clean rooms and nice garden in a small street. Hospitable hostess.

After a week in Parga we went back to Igoumenitsa by taxi to take an early ferry to Brindisi in Italy. We spent the night at Angelika Pallas Hotel. Igoumenitsa is a typical ferry town. They have got a new ferry terminal but the ferry companies ought to learnmore about information especially Endeavor Lines. There was no sign telling you that you have to show your tickets at a counter and pay a small harbour tax.

Korfu/Corfu/Kérkyra
it is also possible to go there by buss or boat from Athens but i takes a lot of time.
From Pelekas there is a free shuttle bus to some of the beaches. We used to go to
Kontogialos Beach. There wer several beach bars. W e used to go to two of the bars, Naftis which was a modern bar and Styros which was more traditional Greek. we can recommend both. We thought that Styros had better lunch while it was wonderful to sit in a sofa at Naftis with a view to the beach and the sea.
We stayed at Bella Vista. They had a very friendly atmosphere. You were really taken care of by the whole family.they have an airport shuttle and take you to Corfu if they have time.
